Not all of Medieval Literature was religious, in fact most were about adventures. Two of them were Beowulf and the other was called The Song of Roland. Beowulf It is about a man who fights and destroys a huge monster. It was first told orally but was soon written on paper.
The Song of Roland was about Charlemagne and his knights who fight Muslims. Roland was one of the knights. In one of the fights , Roland is surrounded.He tries to blow his horn to get the attention of the others but it was no use. After Roland's death Charlemagne mourns over loss. He gets so upset he asks God for help. Soon he finds a Muslim Army and fights and beats then in a huge battle!
